Es Caló area

Ses Platgetes are a series of small beaches interspersed with rock areas located in the eastern area just before reaching the small town of Es Caló de Sant Agustí. To access them we can stop by small detours on the road on the way to Es Caló or reach the town of Es Caló itself and take a short walk to the beach area.

They are small coves or beaches made up of fine white sand and the best thing about them, apart from not being excessively crowded, is the impressive panoramic view we have of the La Mola area. In Ses Platgetes we can find all the services of a great beach: Beach bars , hammocks, umbrellas, walkways for disabled people, restaurants (in Es Caló), and of course, incredible, crystal-clear water perfect for bathing.

Unfortunately the only defect of this area is that we do not have the sunset since it is behind us…. but we can always enjoy an aperitif in Es Caló before going up to La Mola to see the artisan marking… or simply stay in the town of Es Caló enjoying one of the quietest and most beautiful areas of the island.
