VisitFormentera.com is not an automated directory; it is the result of a lifetime of passion for the island, a deep-rooted connection to it and genuine respect for its character. I was born in Formentera, and I have always been deeply in love with this place. In fact, sometimes I wish I were not from here, just so I could experience for the first time the magic and wonder that visitors feel when they discover the island for themselves.

My connection with technology and the island goes back a long way. I created some of the first websites ever built in Formentera and later founded the island's leading restaurant guide, Formenterafoodlovers.com. I work in digital marketing and web development, but my commitment to the island's heritage goes far beyond the digital world.

Between diving sessions and trips along the island's rural roads and hidden corners in search of new discoveries, I have expressed my love for Formentera through projects such as publishing the book 25 ingredients de tradició, in which I documented and preserved the traditional recipe for the island's local herbal liqueur. I have also pursued landscape photography, receiving several awards for the best photography of Formentera at Balearic Islands level and contributing images to editorial publications and projects in direct collaboration with the Consell de Formentera.

I know every corner, every cove and every tradition because this is my home. That close, genuine connection allows me to offer you more than just a trip: it helps you discover the true essence of Formentera.

With this project, I wanted to bring everything you need to discover the island and plan your trip into one website, making the process easy, direct and transparent.
