AMAR Beach Bar (formerly Kiosco Lucky)

Located in the middle section of Migjorn beach, at km 7.8, and formerly known as Quiosco Lucky, it is very close to the Blue Bar Restaurant. In fact, to get to AMAR Beach Bar, you have to take the main road towards Es Caló and take the right turn down the Blue Bar path. After leaving your vehicle in the Blue Bar parking lot, you just need to walk along the wooden boardwalks heading west (towards Es Cap) to arrive in a few minutes.

This beach bar does not accept reservations; you need to arrive early if you want to get a table. For us, it is perfect for visiting at midday, enjoying a good meal on the beach, and taking a refreshing swim. There is also a sunbed and umbrella rental service right on the beach by the bar.

KARAI Beach Bar (formerly Kiosko 62)

Located in the western part of Migjorn beach, in the Ca Marí area. Taking the main road towards La Mola, shortly after leaving Sant Ferran, you will find the turnoff to Ca Marí on the right. Near the end, there is another right turn toward the Gecko Hotel; from there, you cannot miss it. Upon reaching the beach, Karai Beach Bar is just a few meters to the right.

It is one of the best spots to enjoy the sunset. Although you do not see it drop directly into the sea, the surroundings are gorgeous as you watch the sun hide behind the tip of Es Cap de Barbaria. It is perhaps the wildest beach bar on the island due to its location surrounded by forests and sandy paths. Since there is no sunbed service, it gives you the feeling of being in a completely unspoiled area.

Bartolo Beach Bar

With over 47 years of history, Bartolo Beach Bar is the only one that remains intact and is among the most beloved by locals. It is the last kiosk on Migjorn beach before the ascent to La Mola. Passing the village of Es Caló, before the curves, take the right turn toward the Riu Palace Hotel. Park there and take a lovely walk along the beach until you find its characteristic blue structure.

Our personal recommendation is to enjoy one of their burgers or homemade Spanish omelette while contemplating the majestic cliffs of La Mola. From here, you can continue walking to reach Es Caló des Mort, one of the most spectacular coves in Formentera. It does not accept reservations, so go early.

Gitana Beach Bar (formerly Chiringuito La Franja)

Located right on Es Arenals beach, it offers a sunbed and umbrella rental service. It is one of the most beautiful beaches to enjoy an ice-cold drink literally on the white sand. To get there, take the main road and shortly before Es Caló, take the right turn toward the Maysi Hotel. Just before the hotel, a dirt path to the left leads you through the forest to the parking lot in front of the beach bar.

Km 11 Beach Bar (formerly Pirata Bus)

An absolute classic at km 11 of the main road. The dirt turnoff toward Es Arenals takes you directly to it, or you can walk along the shore from the beach itself. Historically known as Pirata Bus, it has always been a place of pilgrimage to enjoy a mojito at sunset with great background music.

Although the name has changed, the essence of the place and the magic of its sunset remain intact. The waters in this area rival those of Illetes in beauty and transparency, but with the added advantage of free access, easier parking, and a very relaxed atmosphere.

Bocaboca Beach Bar (formerly Quiosco den Ribas)

It is located in the beautiful cove of Cala Saona. Simply head toward the Es Cap de Barbaria lighthouse and take the right turn toward the Cala Saona Hotel. Right on the beach, facing the sea to the left, you will find Bocaboca Beach Bar situated on the rocks, practically touching the water.

For us, it is one of the best choices to enjoy the sunset. You can grab a drink at the beach bar and then walk up slightly toward the cliffs, or enjoy the sunset over the sea right from the beach, and even take a magical swim at that moment. Cala Saona also offers a sunbed and umbrella rental service.

BRISS Beach Bar (formerly Sa Beuradeta)

We move north, to Es Pujols beach itself. From the promenade, next to Fandango Restaurant, we take the wooden boardwalk toward ChezzGerdi and, halfway along, we find BRISS Beach Bar right on the sand. It is ideal for a refreshing drink without leaving the tourist center of Es Pujols, surrounded by all amenities, umbrellas, and sunbeds.

NUU Beach Bar (formerly Chiringuito People)

Located at the northern end of Es Pujols beach, almost reaching the Roca Bella Hotel. You can access it by taking a pleasant stroll along the wooden boardwalks or directly by road, parking in the dirt parking lot near the hotel. It is the perfect beach bar if you are looking for a full beach day with all comforts at your fingertips.
