The lessee receives the vehicle in perfect working order, which they will verify upon taking over. They acknowledge that they are informed of the type of fuel the vehicle requires and agree to return the vehicle in the same condition as received.
The lessee agrees to pay all fines imposed for non-compliance with traffic regulations and to notify the lessor at the time of payment.
The lessee will be held responsible, both civilly and criminally, for any liability that may arise from the use of the rented vehicle and under no circumstances may they engage in the transport of goods, especially if these are illegal.
Regarding the provisions of the previous article, the lessee is insured for third-party liability through an insurance policy taken out by the lessor with an insurance company, and for personal injury under the terms and conditions established in the Compulsory Insurance Regulations.
The lessee agrees to carry the document issued by this company, to be presented if requested by the Authority or a person from this company.
The lessor reserves the right not to rent the vehicles if it deems it appropriate. Likewise, the lessor may withdraw the rented vehicle if the lessee misuses it, or if the vehicle is driven while in poor physical condition due to alcohol, drugs, fatigue, or illness.
Under no circumstances will the rented vehicle be subleased or driven by persons other than the contracting client, except with the express consent of the lessor.

YOUNG DRIVERS: Those aged 21 to 24 will be charged an extra €3 per day for accident-related reasons and will not be eligible for the excess exemption.

OTHER FEES:
Payments resulting from improper use by the customer: After the end of the vehicle rental, the customer agrees to pay the amounts resulting from the following items:
1) “Special cleaning” charge for the costs incurred in an additional cleaning service due to the manifestly inadequate condition of the vehicle upon return, with a maximum amount of €150.
2) Charges incurred for the loss of vehicle documents and keys, and/or delivery of the vehicle key set to the corresponding office, in cases of loss, breakage, return of the vehicle keys to a different office than the actual return location, or any other situation where the vehicle is stopped for reasons attributable to the customer, up to €600.
2b) If the customer locks the keys inside the locked car, they will be charged €25 for the removal of the spare keys.
3) The cost of towing the vehicle in the cases provided for in the various clauses of this Contract. (NOT INCLUDED)
4) Expenses arising from the loss, deterioration, or damage to keys, rims, tires (including punctures and blowouts)*, windows, rearview mirrors, the vehicle’s interior, as well as problems arising from an error in the type of fuel refueled.
5) Fines, penalties, and legal expenses resulting from traffic violations or violations of laws, regulations, or ordinances incurred by the customer during the term of this Contract that have been paid.
6) Notwithstanding the foregoing, the company reserves the right to charge the customer an additional €25 for administrative costs incurred as a result of processing and reporting such incidents to the relevant authorities.
7) The costs of repairing damage to the vehicle in the event of an accident, when any of the following circumstances occur:
– The vehicle was not used in accordance with the established conditions.
– Negligent driving without proper use of the vehicle.
– Negligent driving in violation of traffic laws established by the DGT (Directorate-General for Traffic).
RENTAL AGREEMENT EXTENSION:
If you wish to extend the rental period stated in the contract, the following steps must be followed:
Go to the nearest office at least 24 hours before the initial end of the rental agreement. The person in charge will check that the vehicle is available for the new dates requested.
Conduct a vehicle inspection with a company agent.
Pay the rental fee and any new additional charges.
Sign a new Rental Agreement or an addendum to the initial agreement.
If the customer fails to return the vehicle on the agreed date and time, the current rate for the extra days plus a 50% penalty will be charged.
The company reserves the right to deny the extension request for operational reasons.
Under no circumstances will extensions be granted by phone and/or email. It is absolutely essential to follow the above procedure at any of our offices.
FUEL POLICY:
The fuel policy applied upon vehicle return will always be transparent, always trying to follow a Full-to-Full policy. The company may opt for other fuel delivery and return policies, indicating the additional fuel charges at the rental counters. If the renter returns more than the amount, the company undertakes to refund the difference, at the customer’s request upon return of the vehicle.
The costs are the responsibility of the renter. If the customer fills up with the wrong fuel, the repair costs (*4) will be charged €150 + VAT and the renter will also be subject to the deductible, depending on the model, for any damage caused. The vehicle will be returned ready to drive and with enough fuel to reach the nearest gas station.
ELECTRIC VEHICLES:
It is the customer’s responsibility to maintain the battery of the rented electric vehicle with adequate and sufficient charge at all times.
In the event of assistance due to a discharged battery, the customer will assume all costs incurred (towing, travel expenses, etc.), and the vehicle will only be replaced if available. This replacement (if possible) will be carried out at our offices. There will be an additional charge of €50 for returning the vehicle outside our offices. In the event that there are no vehicles available to make the change, the customer will have to wait the time
Required to fully recharge the battery. Travel to our offices is at your own risk.
Upon return, the vehicle must have a minimum battery charge of 20%. Otherwise, a €50 charge will be applied.

In cases where a vehicle is rented in Categories J, K, K2, G, G2, VV, M, 2, 3, 4, 5, the general rental and insurance conditions plus the following specific conditions will apply:
The customer must inspect the soft top and structure of the Jeep, Suzuki, Mehari, Mini, etc., being rented, confirming that they are in perfect condition and working order.
The customer acknowledges and accepts that:
Any damage or loss to the hood or its structure, whether accidental or intentional, is not covered by any type of insurance; therefore, the customer must pay in full for its repair or replacement (if it cannot be repaired).
Due to its configuration, any damage to the metal structure may require its complete replacement, given the absence of loose parts. Damage to the canvas is not repairable; therefore, the damaged and/or missing part(s) will be replaced.
The charge for damage to or loss of the hood or its components may amount to €2,500, according to the published “Damage and Loss Fee.”
The customer will receive instructions from the company for folding or unfolding the hood. If you have any questions after the rental has begun, please contact the company’s nearest office, where they will receive assistance with the procedure.
VEHICLE DELIVERY:
At the time of delivery and return, the company undertakes to inspect the vehicle’s condition if requested by the customer, and to request a copy of the vehicle delivery report, including vehicle details, if requested by the customer.
Night Reservations: (Optional Extra) After hours, there will be a €35 surcharge (VAT included), from 9:00 PM to 11:30 PM.* Check dates.
